Vitamin D, Immunity & Carbs

We use photosynthesis to create vitamin D in our skin. Vitamin D helps us mitigate the poor electron-dense diet that we have in the summer.

So the more carbohydrates you consume, the more important vitamin D becomes.

Vitamin D also helps our white blood cells in clearing infections, but that can only happen when we get UVB and infrared A through our skin.

So supplementing vitamin D isn’t as good as getting it from the sun.
