People don’t realise this - your light environment and your light habits may be moving you in a direction opposite of your goals.

And here’s just one example of how your erratic light and darkness exposure negatively impact your physiology:

All of the cells in your body have a clock in front of them and they take clues on the time from the master clock in your brain.

The master clock in your brain can only adjust about an hour backwards or forwards a day - think of changing timezones when you fly to a different location.

BUT: the cell clocks all take different time to adjust and so the various systems of the body become out of synch with each other and this creates the state of circadian disruption which leads to hormonal disruption and cascades into worse things from there.

So if you want to start gaining control over your health and happiness, you must start with circadian health.
