UV-A does a set of things, UV-B - another, red light - another and blue light plays a huge role as well.

The sun makes our mitochondria work less to produce more energy.

The more food we eat, the more free radicals mitochondria produce.

So if you wanna stay young and energized, there is no way to do that without sunlight. It’s a crucial nutrient.
