Are You Able to Skip Meals Comfortably?

Training your body to get comfortable with skipping a meal or 2 is great for two main reasons:

1 - the first one is Utilitarian:
Skipping a meal or two gives you back a chunk of time that you can dedicate to other - more interesting - things.

2 - the second reason is Metabolic:
Your body switches to burning your own body fat for fuel, when there is no incoming food. And by the way, you get a mild house cleaning done at the same time, where broken cell parts get re-organized or eliminated.

If the idea of skipping a meal or two is daunting and feels unnatural, consider that our lineage of Homo species has survived for millions of years through significant oscillations between scarcity and abundance of food, depending on the season. It is only in the last few decades that we started grazing all day long, curtesy of corrupt science and food corporations.

So yes - everyone can train themselves to do this. And if you ask me - everyone should.

If you cannot do this comfortably, you are not using a very important program that is inherent to any human on this planet.
